About the league

June 9th kicks off KQ Jacksonville’s inaugural Summer League event hosted by Keg & Coin. 10 weeks of friendly competition, hundreds of berries to be ran, and $3 PBR.

Rules and Regulations

Attendance

Every participant is expected to show up on time. If a participant cannot, for any reason, show up on time they are expected to notify their team captain at least 1 hour in advance so that a substitute may be acquired for their replacement. Participants who repeatedly fail to show up or show up late without notice may be removed from the league at the discretion of the team captains.

Scoring and Rewards

During each event points will be awarded based on the format of the event. These points will accumulate over the course of the season and each team will be placed according to the total sum of their points. Every team will receive a reward based on their final standing. Prizes TBA.

Standard format

Every week teams will play the standard format.

  • Single round robin (Every team plays every team once).
  • Each set teams will play Day, Night, Dusk, Twilight; in that order.
  • Each map is worth one point.

Faceoff Format

During weeks 04-09, in addition to the standard format, two teams will play in a faceoff format at the end of the night.

  • Five map set --play all maps.
  • RPS for cab pick
  • Team down in season picks first map
    • Head to head breaks tie
    • If head to head is still tied, RPS to decide.
  • Team down in set or loser of last map picks next map.
  • Legal maps are Day, Night, Dusk, and Twilight.
  • Each map is worth two points.

Sunday Dinner Night

Three nights during the season we will have a group dinner at 6:00pm!

Teams will play standard format but in addition to the standard four maps, they will also play the "Meatball" (economy) bonus map as a fifth map.

  • The "Meatball" bonus map is worth one point.
  • Faceoff format is not affected.

Trade weeks

During weeks two and five, teams are allowed to trade with each other.

  • The trading starts after the event ends for that week and closes before the next event begins. E.g., Week two's event is on Jun 23 and week three's event is on Jul 07. The trading window for this week starts after the event ends on Jun 23 and before the event begins on Jul 07.
  • Teams may trade up to two players total.
  • Teams may not trade-out a player they acquired from a trade-in during the same trade window.
  • Teams captains are responsible for initiating, negotiating, and completing trades. However, every team should communicate within their team and agree on trades before they are initiated or completed
